On Saturday, September 14 Doug Knoth and I (Janice Anderson) traveled to Highland Heights to attend a Citizens’ Sovereignty versus Regionalism Forum (Agenda 21 or Sustainable Development being pushed by the United Nations). There were at least 8 Wayne County Patriots attending. If anyone of you have read Glenn Beck’s book Agenda 21, you know what this is about. Like everyone else we were there to hear the TRUTH about what is being pushed onto us in the state.
The Program Agenda was:
Northeast Ohio Sustainable Communities Coalition’s (NEOSCC), VibrantNEO 2040 initiative federally funded by the HUD Regionalism Grant Program and the four Northeast Ohio Metropolitan Planning Organizations is striving to present a regional plan for Northeast Ohio in the fall of 2013. It will put measures in place to control land use, housing, transportation, food production, consumption patterns, water, energy, and the role of industry.
- Judge Tim Grendell
- Representative Matt Lynch
- Hudson City Councilman Alex Keleman
- Brenda Mack – President of the Ohio Black Republicans Association
- Skip Claypool – President of the Geauga County Tea Party
- Kim Laurie – President of the Mentor 9-12 Project
- Hunter Morrison – Director of NEOSCC
Our team will provide an opportunity for citizens to voice their opinions regarding Regionalism directly to the NEOSCC, NOACA, AMATS, SCATS and Eastgate board members and other elected officials.
Mr. Hunter Morrison, the Director of NEOSCC, is pushing this baloney about looking into the future and putting our people into high-density areas to live using bicycles and mass transportation in the future. NEOSCC is a PRIVATE ORGANIZATION funded by a federal grant of $4.25 million in November of 2010. The NEOSCC also received a matching program grant of $0.5 million from the Fund for our Economic Future [the “Fund”], itself a consortium of Northeast Ohio foundations. Building on the original 23 member organizations, the NEOSCC Board has added 10 additional members for a total of 33 organizations. These members have committed over $2.3 million of in-kind services as part of the required match for the grant. VibrantNEO 2040 is supposed to lead us to a more equitable future. BUT the Government will decide what is FAIR and equitable.
The concept of Vibrant NEO (the 12 counties of Northeast Ohio) is to move populations into concentrated living areas, growing food around those areas, closing off roads to open “green” areas and returning the land to the animals. Our property rights and elected officials would no longer be used. This is all being done in the name of “fairness for all.” It’s happening in various areas in Ohio and across the United States. Only one state has outlawed it to function.
There were about 350 people in the audience at the Performing Arts Center at the Cuyahoga Community College, and many of us are senior citizens. We are concerned that the youth do not know what is going on, nor do they care, although Vibrant NEO will affect them. There were only a few elected officials there although many were encouraged to come. This concept drastically affects them.
The concept of “Sustainable Development” was developed about 30 years ago by the UN to have more fairness and equity in the world. George H.W. Bush agreed to review it in our country. Since then every president has signed on to it. Barbara Boxer in the Senate drafted the Agenda 21 plan for the United States. HUD, EPA, and Transportation are now pushing it in the states. HUD is pushing funds into the states as grants to get them to do this.
Mr. Morrison and three aides presented the entire concept and how everyone in the area will benefit with the density housing, more jobs coming into the area, using bicycles and mass transportation to “save the earth.” All of this would involve our giving up our property rights and our freedom to these unelected officials. There are no people being represented in NEOSCC and only a very few elected officials (two found of 36 voting members of the Board). Everyone else involved with it is unelected and unaccountable, yet every elected official will be impacted by it. (The Cities of Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown, Elyria are members. The Counties of Cuyahoga, Mahoning, Lorain, Stark, Summit, Ashtabula, and Trumbull are members.) They will have no powers once it is adopted in an area. Although NEOSCC has “planning meetings” with citizens, the peoples’ views are not represented since their ideas are not part of the plan. Fewer people than what we had at the forum took part in previous planning sessions which is supposed to represent over four million people in the area, yet that minimum participation is acceptable to VibrantNEO since they have SOME views to support them, even if all the planners did NOT agree with them.
Judge Grendell spoke about the Ohio Constitution and how property rights are sacrosanct in the state. Except for laws requiring the owner to have a healthy property, and follow the rules of the county, the property owner is free to live on his “piece of dirt” as he chooses. For the full text of the Ohio Constitution visit www.legislature.state.ohus/constitution.cfm.
Grendell was very clear on the rights of the property owner in the state, but warned we must continue to fight to protect those rights. Social Engineers “know better than us under NEOSCC.” They think they have the right to tell us how to live.
Brenda Mack talked about our freedoms and how no one has the right to take those away. Under high-density housing, you have no choice who lives next to you, even a drug pusher or sex offender. She also questioned that since there would be no government housing, where would a single mother of three live, and how? She said her people had fought for their rights and freedoms in the 50’s and 60’s and these UNELECTED people were trying to take those freedoms away.
Alex Keleman noted that he has been a non-voting representative at NEOSCC meetings where he has no say. People wishing to voice their concerns have three minutes to talk, cannot question outside those three minutes, and most of the staff of VibrantNEO are texting or doing something else while the citizen is talking, paying no attention to him.
Rep. Lynch talked about the same things and that the people pushing this agenda have no authority whatever. But, they sucker in states through grants and then the process begins (like Common Core has crept into the states). He said he works long hours for the state and most of who he sees are other legislators or lobbyists. He said he makes $62,500 to do his job each year and wondered how much Mr. Hunter Morrison makes to do his job. Grant applications for VibrantNEO funds begin BEFORE the process starts, thus governments are unwittingly locked into what happens.
After everyone spoke there was a brief Q&A period, but the college made us break up and leave since we had only so much time. Donors for the event were thanked and everyone who came out. NEOSCC Director Hunter Morrison did tell the group he received $110,000 a year, lived in Cleveland, and went on to give the rest of the liberal BS on how wonderful the future would be under the plan.
One of the speakers said County, City, and Populace should be at the NEOSCC meetings since we’re all paying for this fiasco. All areas of the state want the grant moneys – Metropolitan Planning Organizations – but they don’t realize where it is heading.
Todd Allan is now on 1330 am radio as a talk show host serving Cuyahoga, Lake, and Geauga Counties and will be talking about this Thursdays 4-5 pm or you can hear him on the computer. If you are interested in receiving information updates on this topic, send your email address to email@example.com.
There was a lot going on in those two hours so I hope the information is correct.
“The time is now near at hand which must probably determine, whether Americans are to be, Freemen, or Slaves; whether they are to have any property they can call their own; whether their Houses, and Farms, are to be pillaged and destroyed, and they consigned to a State of Wretchedness from which no human efforts will probably deliver them.” – George Washington
